Privacy Policy

Kickoff Life ("we", "us") is a free browser game at playkickofflife.com. This policy explains what we collect when you play and how we use it.

What we collect

• Gameplay events. Actions such as starting a career, the choices you make, your result and whether you share it. These help us understand how the game is played and improve it.
• A random identifier. We store a random ID in your browser's local storage so we can count returning players. It is not linked to your name, email or account.
• Basic technical data. Browser type, device type, approximate country (from IP address, not stored by us), the page that referred you and campaign tags in the link you used (for example utm_source).
• Saved game. Your current career is saved in your own browser so you can continue later. It never leaves your device.

We do not ask for your name, email address or any account, and the name you put on your shirt stays in your browser.

Analytics and advertising partners

We use analytics services (Google Analytics and PostHog) to measure how the game is used. We may show ads served by Google AdSense. These providers may use cookies or similar technologies and process data under their own privacy policies: How Google uses information from sites that use its services, PostHog privacy policy. You can opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com.

Your choices

• Clear your browser's site data to delete the saved game and the random ID.
• Use your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker to limit analytics and ad cookies.
• California and other U.S. state residents may request access to or deletion of data we hold, or opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising, by emailing us. We do not sell personal information for money.

Children

Kickoff Life is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above.
